I'm using the La Crosse 2350 weather station with Cumulus V 1.9.2 build 1023 but the max wind speed that I have ever recorded in all the years that I have owned it was 43.3 mph. I know we have had wind speeds far greater than this over the years but 43.3 mph is the max this unit will show.
What could be the cause of this?
Is there anyway that I could fit a separate wired anemometer to this setup and is it possible to have it log instant wind speeds rather than every 4 seconds?
Thanks

You are using an ancient version of Cumulus. I am pretty sure this issue was corrected some time ago.

Re: La Crosse 2350 wind speed problem
I will search and download the latest version.
Is it a simple job of just installing the new update over the top of the old? If I do this will all my settings be automatically transferred/kept into the new version?
Thanks Steve,

It should be straightforward, and you won't lose any settings.

I've tried to find where I fixed this issue, but have been unable to, so no promises. But it does sound very familiar.

Thanks

Re: La Crosse 2350 wind speed problem
Just installed version v1.9.4 (build 1099) - Nov 28 2014.
Hopefully we will get some strong winds soon to test.
Thanks Steve
