Hello every one,
I seem to have a problem with spares
Any suggestions where to buy spares?
The wind vane broke of with the weather had recently
also the rain gauge stopped recording to the console.
The station was bought new from AMAZONS last august
should this be covered under warranty? .

Hi Fred,
It looks like a perfectly standard "Fine Offset" (WH-1081, etc.). Both sensors are available from Maplin at £10 for the vane plus £5 for the rain sensor (which together should give free shipping).
Normally, damage would be excluded from a warranty, but if you paid anything like the price currently quoted on Amazon (cf. Maplin or Clas Ohlson) then it might be worth trying for replacements under warranty. But I believe Amazon (not sure about their independent sellers) will normally expect a full return for a refund/replacement, as they don't keep "spares".

I am still waiting for the wind vane from Marlins
as they are out of stock apparently .
Must have had some high winds through the country.
