I'm looking for a 10 metre solution to place an anemometer. I'm thinking of upgrading to the Oregon Scientific WMR300 (Because I can, although the WMR200 will probably do!!) At the moment the old wind stuff is at 10 metres but to get to it I need a bloke with a ladder. I've seen on Ebay a cheap solution in the form of an aluminium telescopic pole (Actually described as a flag pole....whatever!) does anyone use this? What are your solutions to recording wind speed on a 10 metre pole?
It needs to be that because I live in a residential area and have a small garden.
