Yep, Follow that Completly Steve............As you say "unless something "Clever" is going on" that we don't know about like it "Checks the USB" finds it "Busy" & then retries after 5 Seconds (i.e 5 secs AFTER C1 has "accessed" it & 5 Secs BEFORE it "Acceses" it again)

Most unusual.............. I will continue to run them "together" for the time being (Just to see if they Can run without any problems)

That's very strange that works for you. It should be impossible.
For the heck of it I tried it on my end. While C2 did open a window popped up denying C2 access to the comport because it was in use. It's almost like you have a version of Virtual VP working in the background.

Different station type - the Fine Offset is USB and therefore you don't hit the 'COM port in use' situation.

Anyone trying this needs be aware that it is completely unsupported (i.e. you're on your own, in all respects).
