It's occurred to me that if anyone wants to delete their data and start again, it's easier just to copy a blank database over the existing one, rather than having to uninstall, delete, and reinstall. So I've attached one here for that purpose.

EDIT: Note that this database does not work with the latest (August 2010) release of Cumulus 2. There is a blank database for that included in the release files.

On your desktop is a file produced by Cumulus 2 called trace.txt. The first line in that file tells you the path.

Is this related to your 'total reset' question? Note that the blank database I posted here is for Cumulus 2 - and in any case doesn't apply to the latest release of Cumulus 2 (I've updated the message to make that clear).

If you want to delete all of your Cumulus 1 data, just delete the contents of the data folder with Cumulus not running.

In the folder where you installed Cumulus. And hopefully, as you're running Vista, you didn't install under Program Files or the data folder won't be there and is tricky to find.

dam dam,i think i have done the unforgiveable.how about if i now uninstall the programme and redo it Steve?

Yes, if you're deleting your data anyway, you may as well. Uninstall then reinstall to C:\Cumulus (or something similar).
