Fine offset reading rainfall
Hi Can anyone help. I have a fine off set weather station. I am getting a false reading on rainfall. It's telling me that I have had 0.3 mm of rain this past hour when in fact it hasn't rained. Also we had a thunderstorm last night and 3.8mm rain fell. The storm was at 3 am but the staion reported that it happened at 9 pm. The clock is set ok on 24 hr anyone any ideas?

Re: Fine offset reading rainfall
Hope you have it fixed up. I would have guessed bad connections for the false readings (not just the RG, but also wind vane etc.), and perhaps bad connection on the rain gauge or RG not working properly. Have you extended cables? Checked water flow through RG? Does the RG move in wind?
