Zmodo 720 IP camera getting it running on Yawcam or Ispyconn

Post by ace2 »

I have a zmodo 720p IP camera model zp-ibh13-w. I can't seem to get it to connect to either Ispyconnect or Yawcam. It is up and running on a wired and wireless connection and i'm able to log in via IE and see the video feed without an issue.

Yawcam can't detect an IP camera automatically. I've manually set the address for Yawcam to rtsp://192.168.1.97:10554//tcp/av0_0
Ispyconnect has same issue, can see the HTTP address of webcam(port 80)

I'm using the channel as 1(which shows in Zmodo admin under the IP)Well i think it's the channel??

Connected to router using a static IP and able to ping camera, so i know it's connected..

What am i doing wrong!!!!

Ps. All the work i've done so far has been in the early hours, so i might have missed something

Are you getting anywhere with the camera? I had a look around the net and haven't found any alternative URLs that can be used on that model :(

nothing, I actually think it's faulty and requesting my money back!!!(ebayer)

once it stuffed up, it wouldn't show a image even in it's own software, wireless doesn't have WPA psk hex, type any pass word for wireless and says its connected(not), no IR off.
I had to power off, reset to default and restart the camera to get it working again!!
so no go......

for the 10 seconds it works in Ispyconnect, the feed is delayed by 1/2 second on movement.

it's a shame, cause the size was perfect, mount very strong and image clear....

That's bad news. Are you going to look for a different model?

You may have saved me some money i was looking into buying one of the Zmodo cameras.
And just a question are you using that Foscam on your website at the moment I may have to get one myself.

Yep, sure is.
So far, very happy with it.
Its also running as wireless as well!!!

I'm using a netbook with cmd scripts to grab/overlay text and save.
