Hi,

Just got around to adding my webcam to my site. Not a great view, but I'm happy with the resolution.
Camera is Axis M1011 IP Camera, which sends snapshots direct to my ftp server every 15 minutes, without the requirement of YAWCAM :D

Webcam Page : http://www.rushden-weather.co.uk/webcam.htm

Weather site: http://www.rushden-weather.co.uk

Best regards to all

John

Please give this a try: http://www.wheelocknet.net/cam/index.htm

And let me know if it is intuitive enough as is or do I need to say “Click here for”

This runs on a spare parts MS Homeserver 2011, Microsoft Lifecam cinema using ISpy for the FTP still, and a Microsoft Lifecam Studio using Yawcam for the streaming video.

Best viewed during daylight hours, of course. Local time is UTC+1.

This is my webcam for my local Village Website

If you look closely, you can also see my Weather Station in proud view, of which I am hoping to incorporate some of the Cumlus data into the static design once i figure out how to do it all!!

The links are right as they've always worked. I has a server issue this morning and I suspect this is related as the entire mtcw site will not load. Funny enough the other domain works

Hahaha , Nice view though wish mine looked similar to that. However this is mine in quakechurch and it doubles as security as well as weather and snap is taken every 15 mins plus is actived with motion. All run under linux.

I've now got my website up and running more or less as I wanted. Based in Central Scotland. The main page had a webcam view updated every 10 seconds, and the webcam link gives a live streaming view.

Starting to wish I'd never got the d****d setup, it's been cold Easterlies with rain most days. My garden plants are coming up and then withering with the frost. And its only about 4 weeks till the longest day, and then " the nights are fair drawing in " .

Andrew
