Hi Steve,

I don’t see any problem, but just to let know.
After installing and starting Cumulus b999 I did get this error.

Quote:
1-7-2011 10:26:56 : Archive data not downloaded. Check your data and consider restarting Cumulus using the backup data created at this run

I put that check in because I noticed in the diags files that you uploaded yesterday, that you had started Cumulus on at least one occasion and the station said that there were archive entries available (and there should indeed have been) but it didn't send them when Cumulus asked for them. This means you got a gap in your data. Then, on a subsequent start, it did send those missing entries (and Cumulus will now ignore them).

Are you sure you haven't now got a gap in your data? It might just be a small gap, depending on how long ago it was when you previously ran Cumulus. If you upload the diags folder, I'll have a look.

There is maybe a (small) gap, I did not look at that.
But here is the diags.rar.

The logger says there is archive data available:

1-7-2011 10:26:22.327 : Getting logger entries
1-7-2011 10:26:22.654 : HISTORY_AVAILABLE_PACKET_TYPE

So Cumulus asks for the data:

1-7-2011 10:26:22.654 : Sending DA response

But it only gets 'live' data:

1-7-2011 10:26:23.902 : Baro packet received
1-7-2011 10:26:26.086 : Rain packet received
1-7-2011 10:26:26.929 : Temp packet received
1-7-2011 10:26:27.241 : Temp packet received
1-7-2011 10:26:28.925 : Wind packet received
1-7-2011 10:26:36.928 : Temp packet received
1-7-2011 10:26:42.919 : Wind packet received
1-7-2011 10:26:46.928 : Temp packet received
1-7-2011 10:26:56.865 : Temp packet received
1-7-2011 10:26:56.990 : Wind packet received

After 10 'live' packets, it decides there is no archive data, so it goes into 'live' mode:

1-7-2011 10:26:56.990 : 10:26:56 Switch to normal running
1-7-2011 10:26:56.990 : Warning: Archive data apparently available but not downloaded. Cumulus data may be inconsistent.

I don't know if the station really did have any archive entries, you had only just closed Cumulus down and restarted it, so it looks like it didn't. Your station seems to do this quite often - looking back, it did it last night:

30-6-2011 22:07:11.847 : Getting logger entries
30-6-2011 22:07:12.268 : HISTORY_AVAILABLE_PACKET_TYPE
30-6-2011 22:07:15.466 : Temp packet received
30-6-2011 22:07:15.763 : Wind packet received
30-6-2011 22:07:23.937 : Baro packet received
30-6-2011 22:07:25.450 : Temp packet received
30-6-2011 22:07:29.834 : Wind packet received
30-6-2011 22:07:35.419 : Temp packet received
30-6-2011 22:07:35.824 : Wind packet received
30-6-2011 22:07:35.887 : Temp packet received
30-6-2011 22:07:45.450 : Temp packet received
30-6-2011 22:07:51.955 : Temp packet received
30-6-2011 22:07:51.955 : 22:07:51 Switch to normal running

I've tried to reproduce this with my station, but it's working correctly so far.

Last night I restarted Cumulus several times so that maybe that’s the problem.
This morning after I started Cumulus I saw later there was a new version, after Cumulus did finish downloading the data I closed it, installed 999 and restarted.

So let’s see how it works the next couple of days. :)
