Helo,
I try to search after a topic with requests for newer versions of cumuus, but i don't find this. Sorry if this topic already exists.
I use cumulus since few weeks and really enjoy this fantastic software.
I've a request about the twitter function :
Is this possible to make a schedule for the tweets instead the interval ?

What i need this function ?
My computer is 24/7 online and Cumulus send tweets every 240 minutes.
But, when Cumulus stop (or maybe crashes) and reopen, the intervall behind tweets is back to 0 ... and tweets are strongly delayed.
Exemple :
Tweet 1 send at 6am, next tweet sheduled at 10am. At 9am, Cumulus crashes  and reopen 8-) .. and next tweet is sending at 1pm. :|
Also, i don't want to send tweets behind 11pm and 5am..

Thx for the reply or another solution

There's a section for enhancement requests - see the links above.

'Scheduling' of ftp, etc is on the 'to-do' list.

By the way - is Cumulus crashing a lot, then? It would probably be a good idea to upload the bugreport.txt files, and then I stand a chance of fixing it.

Hmm.. not really, but when i see the status pages, sometimes, the line with "How long Cumulus has been running" won't be more than 24h or 48h... max.
Sometimes, i need to restart the computer, or have an electric shutdown (work in progress at home).

Sorry if my english is not 100% correct... ;)

My copy of Cumulus normally runs for a month at a time, it just gets restarted on 'patch Tuesdays' (XP :( )or if a new version of Cumulus is released.

Hello, i just see the Cumulus program restart and checked what's worng on the computer :
I checked "Restart if unplugged" and "Restart if data stops" box in the Station Settings.
Also, i checked for a bugreport.txt but don't find any file.. I suppose that my station (WS-2308) has stop data or self-unplugged ?
So, now, these boxes are unchecked, i'll see if there's any other restart of Cumulus.

I've updated the ticket with these informations.

Cumulus hasn't crashed, then.

As it says in the help, you shouldn't use the 'restart if data stops' setting with La Crosse stations.

Do you use a serial/USB adapter?

Serial, original serial cable. I don't want to use USB adaptators.
This afternoon, cumulus has restarted again.. And for information, i never have this "problem" until 5-6 days.

Zip up the diags folder and attach it and I'll take a look.

It's easy for me to FTP the diags.zip, please find it @ http://www.7331.be/Diags.zip (Access to my WeatherPC is only by VNC).
But, i think it's my WS2308 too old .. have some problems with data readings in the past ..

It restarted at 12:06, but it looks like you closed it down yourself. You were just changing the station settings, and then immediately after that it closed down. If that's when you changed the 'restart if data stops' setting, I suppose it's possible that it had just decided to restart as you were doing it.

You seem to be running with the debug log turned on all the time - why is that? It can cause crashes if you leave it turned on.

Yes, @ 12:06, i've made one change and, of course, restart Cumulus  Bad calculation for me.. (Heavy work this day.. and a little tired.) :bash:
But, at 8am, checking my status page, i see that Cumulus has been running for 1 hour and 58 minutes. And at 6am, no access to the computer has been detected.
I just remove logs.. so, if i find another unwanted restart, i'll back to this topic and sending another Diags.zip to the server.
