I added this to my webpage yesterday and it come up as 0.0. However today it reads correct. As Steve replied here: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=7926 the figure for the tag would have to be written to yesterday.ini.

Therefore wait for the daily rollover for it to work.

Steve,

I had the same after implementing <#avgtempY> untill today's rollover.
However, looking at the actual temp measurements, how is the average calculated?
High = 29 / Low = 21 -> Average is 24.9 (according to me it should show 25....?
Besides this, you keep teasing me with the Humidex values...... :D
In the Yesterday.ini file, again it shows "Humidex" (see attachment) but shown value is incorrect (would have been nice to see the Yesterday high Humidex, since I broke a local record with 44.6 C :D

Cheers,

Arthur

As far as I know the averagetemperature by Cumulus is calculated by minutes and not maximim+minimum divided by 2.

Its also my understanding that the average is by each minute rather than the min/max average, this is is mentioned here in the Wiki: http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Average_temperature

As I've said before, Cumulus didn't write that [Humidex] section header, it writes a [HeatIndex] section header. I think you must have edited the files and changed [HeatIndex] to [Humidex], I can't think of any other way it could have got there. Presumably you have a [HeatIndex] section at the end of the file? Cumulus would have re-created it when the original one was renamed. That bogus [Humidex] section won't be being updated.

Thanks guys.
Checked WiKi and Ave-Temp is now clear to me :oops:

Steve,
Indeed, I changed from Heatindex to Humidex display and and the bottom of Yesterday.ini there is the Heatindex correctly displayed, so Humidex display must have gotten there "on its own"....!!!!
