Take a look http://www.sheffieldweather.co.uk/Live_Weather.htm
Which problem, flickering or the units not sticking?

I can't see either problem with IE 11 and http://www.sheffieldweather.co.uk/cumulus/gauges-ss.htm

The flickering issue seems to be with slower connections so effectively it's not having time to update. Unless it's a windows 8/8.1 issue.

That could be the cause, my connection has been crap lately(below 1mbit) which the phone company are sorting out, kind of one day.....

Definitely an issue with the refresh in IE11. No other browsers effected and effects all my pc's at home. If I open the page directly in IE http://www.sheffieldweather.co.uk/cumulus/gauges-ss.htm no flickering but if I go via http://www.sheffieldweather.co.uk/Live_Weather.htm which uses iframes it flickers like mad..
No addons in IE and the issue seems to be with Windows 8 mmmmm

Found the culprit hardware acceleration disabling that fixes it.
