In trying to get SteelSeries Gauges to work I decided to start all over. Cleaned up my website and set up the default Cumulus web page - all worked as expected. Next started through the step for installing the SS Gauges but still doesn't work. Get an error that the gauges-ss.htm is not there.
Looked at the web folder on my computer and don't see the gauges-ss.htm either. I see where all the .htm files are being updated from the templates but the gauges-ssT.htm doesn't generate a gauges-ss.htm file.
Can someone shed some light on this? Probably a simple error but I'm stumped at this time.
Thanks in advance.
Brian

I don't see that this has been replied to, so if still a problem perhaps checking this:
Paul
particularly the last sentence.Setting Up For Cumulus Users
============================
Some brief notes for Cumulus users (but other users should skim this as well):
Copy "weather_server\cumulus\realtimegaugesT.txt" to your Cumulus\web folder.
Copy "weather_server\cumulus\gauges-ssT.htm" to your Cumulus\web folder.
Configure Cumulus Internet|Files to:
realtime file:-
Local filename = <path>\Cumulus\web\realtimegaugesT.txt
Remote filename = <website_root_path>/realtimegauges.txt
Process = Yes
Realtime = Yes
FTP = Yes (unless you are local hosting)
gauges HTML file:-
Local filename = <path>\Cumulus\web\gauges-ssT.htm
Remote filename = <website_root_path>/gauges-ss.htm
Process = Yes
Realtime = No
FTP = Yes (unless you are local hosing)
NOTE: Cumulus does not actually update any data when it processes the web
page, it simply replaces the 'static-ish' values such as your station
name, location, version etc. If you wish you can edit the .htm file and
directly enter the information, then you do not need to get Cumulus to
process the file, just copy it once to your web site, removing the 'T'
from the file name.

Re: Need Help with web updates
Thank you for the response. I recognized my error in thinking that the path and destination in the files section needed to be fully defined. Thought from the instruction that the <path> and the <website_root_path> were derived from the internet page. Once I got this information correct the gauges work correctly. Appreciate you assistance.
