I would like to include this radar gauge in the steelseries gauges page on my site. What do I need to do to include it? I don't know much how this all works because I have only set up the gauges page recently. I would appreciate any help with this, I am not sure what I need to do and I don't want to mess it all up without knowing how to do it. Thanks.

Here is the gauges page I have done before I try to do this radar gauge: http://www.localweatherdata.0glo.com/gauges-ss.htm and don't worry if its offline for hours because I only update it once or twice a day.

Matt,

Inclusion of the radar plot involves altering the gauges.htm page to include the radar gauge and copying javascript from the radar plot gauge.js into the steelseries gauges.js.
If you do decide to attempt this, I strongly suggest that you make copies of both your html page and the gauges.js before making any changes. It is easy to break the gauges.

Matt, you can view the page source from the gauges-ss page for Tobyspond, Gwheelo, or myself. From that you can see both the html and the gauges.js changes required for the radar gauge. Gauges.js is available as a link at the bottom of the html page. It is changes to the latter that can be a bit tricky (or it was for me anyway) as there are a lot of lines to sort through. You could also try to copy one of our gauges.js and use it, although we have all made some customizations that you may not want.

One of us should be able to help if needed.

Given the interest, I'm in the process of writing up a set of instructions on how to incorporate the radar plot into the steel series gauges. Once the instructions have been reviewed and revised, I'll post them.

Do you have the un-minified version?

Reading the minified version is a dog - nevertheless I don't find a string that sets an initial color.

Change the line:
y.r = y.g = y.b = (500 - a.position.z) / 1000;
to:
y.r = y.g = y.b = (800 + a.position.z) / 1000;

I found this: rial[0].color,t.r=t.g=t.b=(500-u.position.z) and changed it to rial[0].color,t.r=t.g=t.b=(800-u.position.z)

See results at: http://www.wheelocknet.net/cumulus/gauges.html?gb

They are lighter - but not whiter. What do you think - better?

I am very much interrested in the radar plot but I am no good and experiences Java programmer at all...
An instruction on how to integrate it into the "normal" steelSeries would help. Even better if somebody could prepare an updated steelSeries which includes the radar gauge.
Anyboody? Thanks in advance.

Good luck,

Kerry

Thanks for the instructions and I have set it up, but its not quite right and I sure what to do to get it right. After adding the radar plot to the webpage it left a space below the last row of gauges (it seems to come from the radar plot, it was fine before adding it) see http://www.localweatherdata.0glo.com/gauges-ss.htm for details and not centred properly. I want the radar plot to be in the middle row of gauges so the wind gauges are together but doing that made it worst as the attachment shows. And a page refresh makes the radar plot disappear. I not sure why.
