WU Tabular data

My station graphs from WU used to list the tabular data but now it only says comma delimited file that when clicked on opens a data file. Have they changed the process?

Yes, Wunderground did a bit of change. Jim McMurray has an updated script (V3.3 4-Mar-2016) at http://jcweather.us/scripts.php

Well, I say "thanks for that" but it looks like a complete change to the implementation to me. Not only that, they have references to your site that are, as you referred me to them, now irrelevant and the MI site referred to (where I was hoping to see it in action) was discontinued back in November last year.

It would be nice to see it in operation before I consider doing anything more.

Ahh... I see the issue. I'd adapted it for use with the templates (and have a wxwuhistory.zip file on my site as one of the add-on scripts), but have not kept up with the changes to his basic script.

My bad. I'll see what I can do about adapting my copy with an update. I'll let you know when it's available.

Ok, all done.

The package can be downloaded from http://saratoga-weather.org/wxtemplates/wxwuhistory.zip with the only change being
WU-History-inc.php now at Version 3.3 - 4-Mar-2016 (to match Jim's current version).

Alternatively, you can get the script by itself at http://saratoga-weather.org/wxtemplates ... p?sce=view

Before I do that... does it also fix the wu forecast that is failing now (again) on the home page and on my forecast page or is that another issue?

No, it doesn't fix a WU forecast issue -- that problem was caused by WU server outages this morning.

The fixed WU-History-inc.php just handles the get/parse WU history for a station (but works only if the WU servers aren't having issues).

Oh well, after three years I'm thinking of giving up anyway. I can stand the niggling little problems but the resource problem is occurring again and I'm tired of arguing with providers who invariably insist that any problems are mine but eventually resolve them.

Well, I did nothing and the tabular data is now displaying fine.

(...and unrelated, after emailing hostpapa and telling them I was finished with them for effectively disabling my website with 508's, astonishingly I am able to access it again)

I see that your real website is on altervista.org .. they may not have the capability to use ssl:// as a request
to an external website, so since the request fails, no data is displayed.
WeatherUnderground switched to using https access and that is what the updated script does.

Your hoster (altervista.org) may not support outbound https (ssl) connections .. talk with their tech support to find out.
If they don't support ssl:// access, then you may have to find a new (likely a paid-for) hoster instead of a free/no-pay hoster.

is a complex procedure ?
I'm not a programmer if somebody could help us since we use in many srver altervista .
