GRLevel3 Radar

Post by acatalano »

I downloaded the trial version of GRLevel3 yesterday and set up the webpage, and it works fine for the most part. Instructions on the website are mighty sparse, so I thought I'd ask a few questions here. It "seems" as if the map view presented via the uploaded jpg's or png's mirror whatever the map view on the GRLevel3 happens to be; so if you are moving around the map in the desktop, the series presented on the webpage will be "jerky". It's too bad as it would be great to disconnect the two. Also, I originally set the sequence of images to be 10 as is the default, but thought a larger number might give more info as storms move through the area. I changed the number from 10 to 15 in settings.php and Gr3-radar-inc.php (to be sure), but 10 was all that was uploaded and the sequence refused to display anything in motion (although one image was displayed). I've only been using it for less than 24 hours so it's extremely likely I've overlooked something. If I'm off-base I'd appreciate any guidance. I haven't pulled the trigger on buying the software...yet.
