http2 support query

Post by ConligWX »

http2 support.

Hi I was wondering about my Website supporting http2 since my Apache is now at 2.4.33 and thought I would give it a go.

when I used the chrome developer tools I noticed it was using http2 protocol.

I was wondering why some are using http 1.1 however and these seemed to have been initiated by ajaxCUwx.js yet others are also initiated by the same script but use http2.

I am new to this protocol and was wondering is anyone could shed some light on why some are http 1.1 and other http2 yet initiated by the same java script.

no doubt I'll have issues with this new protocol but was just wondering how it would work and feel. so far it seems slightly quicker.

I wouldn't get bogged down with it to be honest.

I enabled http2 some time ago, the items I see using spdy or 1.1 are all externally hosted.
