Different behavior - Win7 PT / PI GB

Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

Different behavior - Win7 PT / PI GB

Post by Werk_AG »

This may be one of the known issues with "internationalization", but reporting anyway:

Test Version: distro 3010
Test Base: Windows 7 PT settings / Raspberry PI GB settings

Windows 7 PT settings: Charts are drawn only in integer values steps (EX: 10ºC, 11ºC...).
In Gauges, UV only shows NAM

Raspberry PI GB settings: Charts are correctly draw in 0.1 steps
In Gauges, no problems with the UV data

One more time, thank you Steve, for all the efforts with CumulusMX

I suspect that is a consequence of Steve making the UV value a decimal whereas before it was an integer value - again probably a comma thing.

Thanks Mcrossley

Can be ... unfortunately I have no comparison with any previous distro. I just start testing on both platforms since 3010.
What you think about the graphics are just drawn in integer values steps in windows 7 PT settings? Can it be related to the same comma problem?

Edited: It seems it is related to the comma thing! :D Windows 7 with GB settings charts plot normally!

I've started looking at the 'international' problems, I fixed the issues with the settings screens yesterday (although you will have to use decimal points on those screens, as the forms package I use doesn't support decimal commas). Still quite a way to go...
