Moon Phases

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

You could test it my artificially changing $MoonPercent in moonphasetag.php to 50 or -50 for instance.

For those of you who downloaded my moon phase code there is an update which takes care of an anomaly between the New moon and Waxing Crescent.

Download on Page 1 of this Topic.

First Quarter is actually an 'instantaneous' event, like new moon and full moon, so it is arbitrary for how long you decide to say that it is the current phase. Cumulus and whatever the thing is you have posted just happen to use different criteria. Neither are 'wrong'.
