I think you need to click on that tab marked 'console', then it might show some errors. You might need to refresh the page.

raintodayeditor.js was missing, copied it from the dist and everything appears to work. Feel bad I didn't find that in the first place.
Thanks Steve

Do you have the utf-8 option selected? Is the page on your web site utf-8 or iso-8859-1 (or something else)? Can you give a link to the page on your web site, and also a link to the actual file, please? It's hard to help without more information.

Sorry, I don't understand, those don't look like NOAA-style reports?

The encoding for utf8 hasn't changed, but I changed the non-utf8 encoding (but not in 3036, it was in 3035). It's now (incorrectly) doing ASCII rather than ISO-8859-1 - I'll correct that in the next build, as I did for the NOAA reports.

solved, in cumulus.ini the line 179 (UTF8encode=1)must be "1" and when i tick utf8 encode on ui cmx, there is no change, close cmx, change value 0 to 1 and restart cmx and well done .

Could you show me a screen shot of where you are changing that setting in the UI, as it works OK for me.

cmx.png
if i tick : nothing else

if i close cmx, choose 1 in cumulus.ini: it's ok

or, maybe the true process is: tick utf-8 and close and restrat cmx?

You don't need to restart. After you have clicked the 'Save' button, do you get an alert which says "Settings updated"?

Sorry, I'm confused now. We were talking about that setting not being written to Cumulus.ini when you change it in the UI. You said that fixed the problem with the accented characters, but you had to edit Cumulus.ini manually for the setting to work. Are you now saying that setting doesn't work?

If the setting doesn't get updated via the user interface, then obviously the setting isn't going to work! Please confirm that you change the setting, then you click 'Save' and then you get an alert saying 'settings updated'. But then you look in Cumulus.ini and the UTF8encode value is still zero? And if you refresh the settings screen, the setting goes back to what it was before?

Are there entries in the MXdiags file like this:

2015-12-21 08:26:34.393 Updating internet settings
2015-12-21 08:26:34.394 Writing Cumulus.ini file
