Uploading realtime to website

Post by coercri »

Ive got MX to upload to my website all OK, but I cannot seem to get the realtime function to work.

Ive looked at the FAQ, and if I'm reading it correctly, with the latest version of MX (which I have), for realtime updates I just have to have the relevent sections ticked in the Internet > Web/FTP Settings for it to work? I presume that means that I don't have to have the files included in the extra files section as well?

The log says its has uploaded the realtime file (Uploading web\realtimegauges.txt to /public_html/weather/realtimegauges.txt), but it doesnt appear on website.

The website accepts txt files as Ive uploaded a couple just to test this.

Any ideas please.

Have you turned on ftp logging and looked at the ftplog.txt file? That should hopefully give more information about what's going on. Have you looked at your web space with an ftp client to see if the file is there - perhaps zero length? Giving a link to your website may also be useful.
