Should diags show a periodic record for PWS Weather as it does for Weather Underground?

Thanks

Diags should show PWS updates if diag logging is on. Errors should be logged anyway. Note that having configured PWS in MX, then as with many settings, you may need to restart MX before it will start.

Looks like https://www.pwsweather.com/obs/RADILLY.html is displaying data ... and hasn't missed a beat. I also turned on logging, which I hadn't fiddled with much. (Interesting stuff.) Didn't seem to need a restart.

Paul, I came across WeatherObs when I worked my way through the list. Appreciate the notes. I've heard of CWOP for some time, but never really dug into it, partly because my anemometer siting is not great. (Though what it observes tracks well with another PWS nearby.)

Given what I've seen since 1 January, I think I may just abandon Weather Underground. It's sort of back today, but I've noticed it's really sluggish to load. From the plot above it certainly looks like something came off the rails on the 4th.

Cheers, and Thanks!

Here's an interesting data point ... Not one of these exceptions were logged over the past 5 hours. Quite a contrast to seeing them with, perhaps, 80% of the attempts - once per minute.

This will make my diags log noticeably smaller!

Got an email this evening where the WU folks acknowledged the issue over the past week. The text of it is in https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.p ... 15#p128386

I also noted that I've run 36+ hours with seeing this exception, and my data and webcam now look intact on the WU site.

In the mean time, I've been posting to https://www.pwsweather.com/obs/RADILLY.html and https://app.weathercloud.net/d0208473809#current which seem to be working pretty well.
