Strange Daily Rain - 18.31in

When I looked at my dashboard this evening it said I had 18.31 in of rain today. There was absolutly no rain at all and the Davis console showed 0 for daily rain. In looking in the log I found this at the same time my rain chart showed it happened:

I edited the daily rain total in the dashboard to 0, but has anyone seen this before or have any idea what caused it?

I don't have any thoughts on what might be the cause but to trace this I would shut down Cumulus, start Weatherlink so that the datalogger data downloads, and then see what the Weatherlink Sep17log.txt file shows for rain during that time. This at least would show if the datalogger and Cumulus show the same.

Well... I run CMX on a RPi2 and don't have Weatherlink software on a a Windows PC and never used it. I'll have to do some research on how to install and use it.

For some reason your station supplied zero for the annual rain total, for a short period. Cumulus relies on this figure to calculate the daily rainfall.
