Hi Members.
I face a problem using my Oregon WMR 88 + Raspberry Pi Model B+.
A short timeline event in order to understand the background.
- JANUARY 2017: I succesfully installed my meteo system composed by WMR 88 + RasPi (Jessie Raspbian OS);
- JAN 2017 - OCT 2017: The meteo system was active without any issue.
- Last week I decided to change the Rapi SD Card in order to increase the Disk space so I've performed a "clean installation" using Rasbian Stratch OS.
I have followed the same steps used for the first installation (JAN 2017) but my cumulusMX SW shown only O values (temperature, pressure, etc).
What I've tried:
- re-install OS and Cumulus -> without success
- change in the Station Setting menu of CumulusMX the serial port name from COM0 to /dev/ttyUSB0, /dev/ttyUSB1,.... (the lsusb command show me that Raspi see my WMR)
What I see:
- Last station update is always 00:00:00
- In CumulusMX status the ProcessID (PID) of CumulusMX is always blank.
Thank you very much for your support.
Raffaele.

Re: Oregon Scientific WMR88 > ISSUE
The COM port setting is irrelevant for a USB station. Of more relevance is the version of a Mono that you are using - see the MX FAQ and many posts in the forum about this. It is likely that the version of Mono you are using does not work with the USB library which Cumulus uses.

Thank you Steve!!!
One advice from you: re-install OS+Cumulus or downgrade mono?
Thank you.

Re: Oregon Scientific WMR88 > ISSUE
I think that using an older OS with an older Mono would probably be easier than trying to downgrade Mono - from what I read, most people seem to have trouble downgrading Mono.

Re: Oregon Scientific WMR88 > ISSUE
Hi Steve.
Now the issue is solved: my meteo station works fine!
Corrective action applied:
- Raspbian OS (Jessie)
- Mono-complete version 3.2.8.
instead of:
- Raspbian OS (Stratch)
- Mono-complete version 4.x.x
Thank you again.

Re: [SOLVED] Oregon Scientific WMR88 > ISSUE
Hi Ralph, Steve
I have your same situation, CMX on Raspberry pi3 with oregon wmr88
I can see on http://localhost:8998 the data, but i cannot upload the standard web files on web space, CMX upload only realtime.txt and realtimegauges.txt
I have try to upgrade and downgrade mono, copy again CumulusMX folder clean, but i cannot see what is wrong
other problem is in the graph section (localhost:8998), don't appear the Temperature curves
anyone can help me to solve this problem?
thank you
Fabrizio.
