An error has occurred - please zip up the MXdiags folder

Postby haeb » Sat Feb 10, 2018 12:33 pm

Hi all,
sice some time cumulus is stopping accidentally:
Feb 9 01:23:00 raspi3 cumulus[335]: System.IO.IOException: Too many open files
Feb 9 01:23:00 raspi3 cumulus[335]: at System.IO.FileStream..ctor (System.String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, FileShare share,[..]
[..]
Feb 9 01:23:01 raspi3 cumulus[335]: **** An error has occurred - please zip up the MXdiags folder and post it in the forum ****
Feb 9 01:23:01 raspi3 cumulus[335]: Press Enter to terminate
Feb 9 01:23:01 raspi3 cumulus[335]: * Assertion: should not be reached at mutexes.c:366

As adivised i would like to send the MXdiags folder. But i am wondering where: here in this thread or is there a special location?

I am running Cumulus MX 3.0.0 b3043 on raspberry.

regards
Horst

I took a quick look.

some of the issues are with accessing the mysql database.

are you able to connect to it?

is it up and running?

are you using a mysql account purely for cumulusmx, or are you sharing the mysql account and have multiple connections to the DB using the same account?

Hi Toxic17,

mysql - that's it.

I restricted DB access and cumulus couldn't access anymore....

Thanks
Haorst
