Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

UTC Trend offset

Post by orfeo »

Hi,

I've setup CumulusMX and my trends page, http://www.atmosp.physics.utoronto.ca/wstat/trends.htm, has a offset. The computer/station that logs the data is set to UTC time but the location of the station is Toronto. The theoretical solar value shows a 12hr offset from our solar rad data, Is this related to our UTC time setting? It doesn' seem to make sense as we are only UTC -4 at the moment but i am a litter uncertain why the theoretical is so far off.

cheers

Have you set your co-ordinates correctly? Are you really East of the meridian?
