Topics about the Beta trials up to Build 3043, the last build by Cumulus's founder Steve Loft. It was by this time way out of Beta but Steve wanted to keep it that way until he made a decision on his and Cumulus's future.

Take a look please?

Could someone who has set up a standard C MX website, please take a quick look and confirm this looks correct?

I was sort of expecting it would be a bit more colourful in the background to the pages, rather than a plain white background..

I have uploaded all the files, as per Steve's instructions.

Recheck the instructions... The weatherstyle.css does not appear to be at https://m1byt.000webhostapp.com/weatherstyle.css

from the installation notes:

Code: Select all

If you want to operate the 'standard' web site, then just the same as with Cumulus 1, you will need to upload the contents of the webfiles folder from the zip file (don't upload the containing webfiles folder itself).
I suggest you upload all of them to your webserver.
Regards Simon

Thanks both and Paul especially. You were correct, that file was missed in the transfer for some reason which I just do not understand. It was already in the temporary directory where I had put all the files, ready for the transfer. I transferred them (supposedly all) several times, whilst I was trying to get the FTP client to work.

Harry,

A couple of tips. 1) updates every minute are unnecessary. I’d suggest 10 or 15 minute intervals.

2) You need to edit some of your all-time records. A minimum of 0C and wind gust of 125mph are unlikely in this present heatwave. There are instructions in the Cumulus Wiki on how to tidy them up.
Cheers,
Ray, Cheshire.
