Syntax error

Post by Vagspel »

Hi,

I did some changes in the gauges-ssT.htm probably missing something.
Now I sometimes get ......Syntax error... in the forecast line.
Everything works normally and the message comes sometimes and it is so quick that I cannot read it!
Anyone has an idea what I have done wrong when editing gauges-ssT ?

You're getting an occasional 'unexpected end of JSON input' error, suggesting that the realtimegauges.txt file is occasionally truncated (or empty). Have you selected the 'rename ' option in Cumulus? Selecting that should fix it.

Thanks Steve!
"How to rename" is in the manual?

It's one of the options on the internet settings screen, in the 'web settings' panel - "Use FTP rename". Make sure you don't have 'delete before upload' set.
