Will Cumulus Work With the Osprey Station

Post by Cambium »

I did a forum search for "Osprey" and no threads came up so figure I ask..

Was wondering if Cumulus would work with it OR if it will be added to support it.

Thanks.

It doesn't look like one of the usual Fine Offset stations, so it's unlikely to work with Cumulus. I am not currently in a position to consider adding a new type of station to Cumulus, even if all of the conditions in the FAQ were met.

It maybe but it one of the ones that uploads directly to Wunderground and has no PC USB interface, so it will not work with Cumulus.

I think Weewx has a way of connecting to it via IP

Ahh, thanks guys! Glad I asked. I just checked the online manual and yeah, doesn't look like a USB connection available which makes sense why Cumulus wouldn't work with it. Interesting though since I thought Cumulus would be able to grab the data from a file the data is being transferred into or something. Anyway - onto the next
