today I get an error from cumulus about the log files of the month ..

It's finding "00.00" in a position where it expects a time(on line 1 of mar17log.txt), but Windows doesn't recognose that as a time. My guess would be that you have changed your Windows settings so that the time format has changed. You'll need to correct it to make it match the time format you are now using (or go back to the setting you were previously using,which may then require you to edit any lines which have been written since you changed settings).
