hi Steve,
I checked my weather pc i had this error
i started cumulus an it crashed
i rebooted pc an started cumulus an it work for 6 min then crashed again
it crashes every time it tries to ftp
after reinstall if i hit web update
i get FTP Error: FTP component not ready
any idea?

Sorry, I don't know. It looks like some sort of Windows problem; a 'normal' Cumulus crash would invoke the exception handler and you would get a bugreport.txt file. If it is a bug in Cumulus I'm afraid I have absolutely no idea how to diagnose it from that information.

Turn on ftp logging.

A thought occurred to me about that crash - are you creating a currentconditions.txt file, and had something strange happened to it, had it become very large, perhaps?

these are the two files I use
wood either file make a crash
an i ftp my day file using bat file

The only thing I can think of that might cause a problem would be if you were using something to automatically create a currentconditions.txt file, and somehow that file became very large. It's possible that might cause a crash when Cumulus tried to put the contents in the box on the main screen.
