I didn't know where to write this. I am playing around with Cumulus running on two separate boxes; one connected to the Vantage Vue (custom serial port cable) and the other connected to the Fine Offset weather station via USB cable.

The Forcast on the Davis Vantage Vue changes with the weather just fine. IE; today its saying

Forecast: Partly cloudy with little temperature change

The forecast on the Fine Offset has never changed from installation a few weeks back and always states:

Forecast: Exceptional Weather, Stormy, much precipitation

Is there something I have to do different with the Fine offset configuration such that I see the changes in the forecast?

"Exceptional weather" is normally an indication that the pressure reading is outside the bounds that you have configured.

I have both of the devices now running posting to two websites in "test" mode such that you can see the differences a bit. Note that they are not sitting adjacent to each other.

The links are in my signature.
