Hello,

I am doing the setup of a computer for my meteorogical station (and some astronomical stuff) until I have internet in the location.
Yesterday I upgraded Cumulus from 1.9.1 to 1.9.2, all works fine but Cumulus desn't auto update the web vía FTP.
I tried to clean an reinstall from zero Cumulus and the same problem. Manual web update works fine and the ftplog is correct.

Realtimeftp.log shows
Quote:
14:32:25:686 ! Aborting
14:45:17:563 ! Aborting
15:24:10:796 ! Aborting

I have no idea why auto update stops and manual ftp works.

(I tried with /www/meteo and www/meteo in ftp directory and both works uploading manually webfiles)

Thanks!

Because your problem appears to be only with the realtime upload; a manual ftp doesn't do a realtime upload.

Unfortunately the problem has already occurred when you turn on the ftp logging. Try the following:

Turn off realtime ftp and stop Cumulus.
Start Cumulus again and turn on ftp logging.
Turn realtime ftp on.

Hopefully the realtimeftplog.txt will then give more information.

I would use www/meteo; relative paths are always safer on ftp servers.

I've just had a look at your web site; is your station working correctly? You seem to have zero for everything except pressure. Cumulus checks for a certain level of functionality before it will do auto-updates to the web.

The same aborted in realtimeftplog. Tried to turn off, restart computer and turn off: aborted. (using www/ instead of /www/)
I am only using Cumulus and YawCam in WinXp SP3. With 1.9.1 auto update works.

I am going to search if I have the 1.9.1 version in a backup external hard drive to try.

I have the sensors in the "observatory" and the computer in my house. But with the previous version and no sensors the autoupdate works. (Maybe it's a change?)

It's possible, yes. It can take a long time to read data from a La Crosse station, so it may have previously been uploading to the web before it had chance to read valid data. But I have no idea when I did that change, if indeed it was a change.
