Hello from an ex Napier dweller ;)
I coughed up $25AUD which IIRC converted to around 15 pounds :s Anymore and my Missues would've had a heart attack lol. Anyhow, I'll be trying to leave another small deposit in the future.
Great weather site you have there btw, very well done.

and Hello to you.
Napier is full to over flowing this weekend.
France play Canada on Sunday at McLean Park for the Rugby World Cup.
Actually I think a lot of New Zealand is overflowing if you have caught NZ news recently :)
Napier was one of the first games to be sold out. A lot of Rugby fans on the east coast.

Thanks for comment on site. All typed in a text editor and titillated with great scripts I pinch from members in here like Ray, Beteljuice, David and Ken. I wish I had their skills for sure.
Of course without Cumulus and Steve to begin with I would have a blank page :)

Cheers and go the All Blacks :)

Hi Steve

As a new member can I just offer my thanks for a completely professional program in the form of Cumulus.

I have used Cumulus since setting up my weather station in June and other than the odd glitch, which probably had more to do with my lack of understanding of the software, my weather station, and my computer, it really has been excellent and very stable. I've been expecting something going wrong to be honest (that's been my experience with other free and dontaion ware software in other unrelated fields) and that's the reason why I have, until now, delayed making a donation. I hope that's okay and that you don't mind such a lengthy appraisal!

To keep things short and precise, just as soon as I click the submit button to post this, my first message, I will be heading over to the donation page and sending a small token of my appreciation in the hope that it helps to sustain your interest and continued development of Cumulus.

Many thanks for a very professional program and one that I have no hesitation in recommending most highly.

Mick

Steve:
This is really good stable weather software. it was very simple to load up to webpage to view data online. I stopped using Weatherlink software to use Cumulus. Weatherlink would freeze during uploads randomly and somehow ( could be coincidentaly) cause my computer to reboot and change my bios settings. Since then I have had no problems with Cumulus and my computer restarting. I also tried a demo of Weatherview32 but it was really complicated and it didn't work with Windows 7 64 bit. I never did get it to load properly.
I am hoping that in the near future there will be more bells and whistles to the software and will be able to use the stored data more effectively to compare historical data.
I donated earlier but will donate more for future updates.

I'm adding features all the time; I've added a large number in the last few months alone. If you have any specific requests for features that aren't already in 1.9.2, the best thing to do is to create an enhancement request (see links above), then it can be considered for a future version.

Another donation just made to help with continued development, it is only a small donation but better than nothing. the 1.9.2 is a great new release which deserves to be rewarded, so everyone please consider at least a small donation.

I set up my Davis Vantage Vue station this week using a serial logger. After configuring it with the Weatherlink software, I installed Cumulus on a Windows 64 bit system. It has been running flawlessly, and I have found the wiki and faq to be very helpful, especially in creating a website and editing the templates. It has also been sending data to WU using rapidfire without a hitch.

Even though I considered using using VirtualVP and VSPManager, I really don't see the point right now since Cumulus is doing everything I want, and has a very clean presentation. Thanks for the software; donation has been sent.

Hi Steve,

Santa has made another donation because you've been a good boy by providing great new features to Cumulus and for the many hours of support you provide to your users..... while at times a thankless task you are a constant support for us all.

So in the festive tradition I'd like to wish you and your family a very Happy Christmas and a great 2012.

Hi Steve,

I just made a small donation. I am sorry that it can not be more. I am disabled on a fixed income. But you do have a great piece of software here that I am really enjoying. I have always loved watching the weather. Now through good luck at finding a used ws2315 for just $5.00 and your software I can really enjoy watching the readings in real time and having a website piggybacked.

Before I found your software all I could do is droll after the nice pricey software. But then I stumbled onto yours and could not believe all that it could do and look so good!

So Thank You Steve for not only your software that makes me happy, but with also taking the time to answer my questions about it. Thank You!

I will donate more when I can afford it.

Hi Steve
I have just recently purchased a wh1081 wx station and came across your software.
The programme has been running without fault for about three weeks now.
A donation has been sent to you in recognition of this excellent programme
Please keep up the great work.

Regards
