Just recently found Cumulus.
Nice software to say the least, just what i have been looking for.
BUT, for some strange reason, it crashes my OS after a few minutes.
During those few minutes all seems ok, even used the debug to watch what is going on.
Using a serial to USB, which works with all other programs flawlessly.
Running xp sp3.
Weather station is the WMR 968.
So for time being cannot use Cumulus.
Unless someone on here has had the same problem.
PLEASE help. :(
Have looked into the forum, but nothing found that made sense to my problem.
Thanks in advance,

When you say it crashes your OS, you mean Windows rather than your Oregon Scientific? It seems unlikely that Cumulus could do that, all it does for this type of station is listen to the serial port. What error does Windows give?

Yes, Steve, the OS which is xp crashes completely, then it reboots itself of course, then i restart Cumulus to again have the same thing happen in a few minutes, rather frustrating to say the least..
I will play with it some more tomorrow, as a window pops up saying either to send the error file to Microsoft or not, so if i can copy it, i will send it to you. Maybe you can pickup something from it.
Really like the software, as it is exactly what i had been looking for , just came upon it in last few days. Job well done.
Hope problem can be soved so that i can start using it.
Thanks for help

If you can't get anything from the error box, have a look in the event log after it comes back up, there should be something in there.
