Well before the log line was just

upgraded to latest beta, new line after pressure spotted

Today when we had some rain, i checked the Cumulus and it was all fine, 1mm at that time. Clicked the blinking Records light and there it reported 2062mm for higherday rain etc... but on main screen it was all normal... I restarted cumulus and drama begun. Today rain was 2062 :)

Lines looked like

And then I edited those numbers that they looked more normal as with 1.8.1 ;)
Did it with find and replace and as it looks I replaced too much :oops:
And after that Cumulus got the total from the station and set it to a start=
Yep, magical loop :D

Drama!

Anyway, don`t play with the data files if you`re not sure what you`re actually doing

It's not your fault. It was never my intention that people would have to hack the files like this (particularly the today.ini file, which is just supposed to be internal), so I've never made it easy to do. Hopefully this will change, eventually.

Just to let you know, FreeWX also reported 2068 daily rain after restart of the application and not before when i had issue with Cumulus. I guess it was weird report from the console?

hey!

What if i modify bucket tip to 0.25mm, then rainrate will be wrong or right on Cumulus main page and in log files :?:

Suggestions/ideas -not related to topic...
- battery status above () Error and () Records - there is nice space for that
- extra sensor support ( max 3 ) and ability to choose "primary one" ( showing them where Davis has ET/UV/Solar now and ability to change titles for them )
- Would be cool to simply add amount of rain manually and logs/daily stats would automatically sum it up. ( Rain add-on in Edit menu.. )

I did that to my Oregon. Stuck a funnel on top of just the right size. You could then use the 'calibration' thing?

Yes, that's where the Davis battery status goes. But it should be showing the battery status for Oregon stations too, I'll have to investigate.

Yes, it was my intention to support extra sensors for Davis and OS, but I was going to leave it until version 2. But I guess now that I've made space...

Software calculated.

I remembered what happened to the battery display for the WMR928 - I took it out when I got my Davis. The WMR928 gives 4 battery 'status' values, and I used to have 4 little bar gauges showing the status. I replaced that with the single display showing voltage for my Davis. I'll put something back in for the WMR928.
