Extreme low temp readings

Post by newyorktaxi »

Hi all,

Finally some time to take a look at a long-time running problem: extreme low temp readings. Anyone else's seen this happening? I never see these values on the display of my VP2 which is right in front of me at my workplace.

I don't know where to start looking so any help is appreciated.

Bruno.

Can you confirm that this is from a La Crosse station, rather than the VP2 that you mention, and that is in your profile? What version and build of Cumulus are you using?

Please move it to the VP2 section, my bad.

This is indeed a VP2 set, Cumulus 1.9.2 (updated this morning to 1.9.3 build 1059)

Your temperature sensor is failing. Mine showed the same value intermittently the last time it failed, see my posts in this thread: https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7798

Examples of others with the same problem can be found via Google: https://www.google.com/search?q=vp2+%22-67.8%22
