Bluetooth to Serial Adapter

Anyone successfully used a bluetooth to rs232 adapter to eliminate a hardwire from the console to PC with Cumulus? I am working with a US Converters device that transmits data over bluetooth from a serial device. I am not sure if I am having an issue with Cumulus or initial device setup but I am not having any success.
