Wireless Vantage Pro 2 in use.
I have several false readings in my "all time records" due to malfunction of the sensors but I cannot work out how to delete that data from the dayfile log. Have read the instructions in the Help section of the software but that doesn't seem to help!

The Cumulus help tries to keep advice simple, for Steve's audience of those (like you) who say "I'm not really computer savvy".PARISHCLERK wrote:Have read the instructions in the Help section of the software but that doesn't seem to help!
For a bit more detail see FAQ http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#How_to_restore_a_corrupted_log_file, that is aimed at those who need a bit more help. There are other answers in the FAQ that might also help you.

Basically, editing the all time records in 'alltime.ini' is made easy as each change is logged in 'alltimelog.txt', so you look in latter for mention of the false reading and it will tell you what to change the values back to! I hope that solves your question.

For very detailed advice, but obviously more difficult concepts, see the relevant article in Wiki for that logfile http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Dayfile.txt.
