email when low battery occurs on vantage vue

Postby VidarParry » Fri Jun 01, 2018 12:57 am

Hi all,
Searched everywhere and can't seem to find anything about this (which surprises me, maybe I'm not looking in the right place).

I have a Davis Vantage Vue and running Cumulus 1.94 (Ion Windows XP and because it's stable!). The system runs unnattended and I rarely look at the Cumulus window or the Weather Station Console.

As a consequence, I missed the low battery warning for the transmitter, which looks like it's been failing every early morning for weeks

I'm trying to find a way to send me an email alert when a low battery alarm is flagged. How can I do this?

Many thanks in advance!

Cheers
...Steve

Install Toolbox and use it to monitor the low battery status and send you an email. http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Toolbox
