Steve or et al.:
Can you describe to me a way to retrieve the data from my Vantage Pro2 console that predates my Cumulus installation? I have six years of data on the console. I would like to have that data available for "record highs/lows", etc. I don't mind manually editing the records manually if necessary. Looking inside the WeatherLink program, it shows the breakout of data going back to when I first installed my station. Shouldn't those tables be available for Cumulus? How about a comma-delimited file or ??

Thank you for your reply and information.

The data that you could have in the console going back six years would only be the highs and lows. You could get the console (or Weatherlink?) to show you these values and enter them manually into Cumulus using the all-time record editor.

Weatherlink, on the other hand, will have detailed data (in the same way that Cumulus does) from since you started running it. But no-one has ever written an importer to convert Weatherlink files to Cumulus files. I do have a way of converting small sections of Weatherlink data where a Cumulus user has for some reason has lost part of their data, which I did for one user once, but this is a tedious and time consuming process even using the utility I've written, and I can't start offering this as a service.
