I stumbled across this. "The XBP data logger is a wireless USB data logger for the weather stations of the Davis Vantage Series"

The info says " .. the pc must not be switched off .." A translation error?

Posted elsewhere, other believe this incorporates the Davis datalogger and just adds a wireless interface.

Yes, I would translate it as "the pc does not have to be powered up" which makes much more sense.

On another page they are selling the (wired) logger with no software for 99 euros, with wswin for 119 (IIRC) euros, and the Davis weatherlink logger/software package for somewhat more. I think they have their own clone logger.
