I've just installed the davis pro 2 and weatherlink software. I'm using USB but would like to use Cumulus now. I've downloaded the convertion to serial file but I get the message - unable to locate componant and this application has failed to start because cp210xmanufacturing.dll was not found. Re installing the application may fix the problem.

I've tried it several times but it will not work.

Is the reason because I've already installed the usb and weatherlink first? Should I delete the weatherlink software and start again? What is the procedure?

Also when I have hopfully installed weatherlink and Cumulus, can the run in harmony with each other? Will I be able to use the data files in both?

I thought that DLL was installed by Weatherlink. You can download a copy here: http://nybbles.co.uk/downloads/CP210xManufacturing.dll; if you put it in the same folder as the USB converter it should find it.

You can run WL and Cumulus on the same machine as long as you run WL in serial mode and don't try to run both at the same time.

I've now run it and the Weatherlink has detected the vp2 on com4 but when I try and view anything from the console it says device not found please plug in the device.
