force new download from logger

Post by outback »

Can I force the logger to download the last 24 - 30 hours of data? Cumulus locked up and recorded the same values for 18+ hours in 1 minute increments. We had a dramatic temp change and would like to have an accurate log.

The easier way is to revert to one of the backups, with Cumulus stopped (they're in timestamped directories in the backups directory). When you then start Cumulus it will download the data from the backup point until present.

If the backup date is too far back for your liking (it depends on how often you start Cumulus), you could manually edit the log files to remove the bad data (although I guess you have already done this), then edit today.ini and set the timestamp in there to the appropriate time. When you then start Cumulus it should download the data from that point.
