Re: Error -32701 on VP2 Weather Envoy USB
Yes, it appears that the USB connection code doesn't work. I don't know why, I'm just calling the new functions in the new Davis vantagepro DLL, but it appears not to be able to detect the device:
2009-03-02 22:40:06 : VP2: GetUSBDevSerialNumber, ID = 0
Could you try something, please? Could you download this file:
http://nybbles.co.uk/cumulus/CP210xManufacturing.dll
Copy it into the Cumulus installation folder and see if it helps? I think it's unlikely, but it's worth a try.
If that doesn't work, you will need to install the Davis CP210X driver, and use Cumulus in serial port mode.

Hi
Thank you for your quick reply
I have tried that .dll and reboted, but it is the same problem
Will test with the CP210X driver and get back to you with the result

Re: Error -32701 on VP2 Weather Envoy USB
You still have USB selected. The Davis driver creates a virtual serial port; you need to use that in Cumulus.

Hi
I have tried without the driver, on USB and Serial, with the driver with USB and Serial, no luck.
When i start my WheaterLink i see that it is conect to Com 3, is that causing any problem?, is there anyware i can configure the Com port in Cumulus?
