Re: SunShineHours Things in Cumulus 1 missing from Cumulus M
SunShineHours
As there have been a few downloads of the text file in the earlier post, have updated that post ( 6 posts before this).
Have included most of the files involved and further detail on how they work.
Of course, when/if Steve adds this graph to MX most of this will not be required except perhaps the ongoing creation of the special jpGraphs version of the .json file.
If someone more experienced in jpGraphs could find a way around the acknowledged shortcoming in jpGraphs' bar graph with xaxis date scale then the standard MX .json file could be used, if not, then perhaps this version of the file could also be created by MX???
Examples of these graphs may be seen here (Highcharts) http://silveracorn.co.nz/weathermx/wxmxgraphs.php
and here (jpGraphs) http://silveracorn.co.nz/weathermx/wxmxsolaret.php
Enjoy !

Inspired by your post and your code, I've added daily rain and sunshine hours - http://sanday.org.uk/weather/trends.htm

WOW! Thanks!
What a tease though, you show and tell but we have to wait for the files to make it work - oh the agony of impatience

I've realised that the min/max/avg daily temp graph is also missing, so I'll add that and then possibly make it available after I've done some testing.

Unless I read past it, I miss being able to edit the daily rainfall within the program.

Re: Things in Cumulus 1 missing from Cumulus MX
Hi Steve,
I have not had time to install MX as yet and was wondering whether Soil Temp/Moisture was included as well as Min/Max/Avg etc.
Going by WoW/BoM they are now saying Soil Moisture will be converted by them, no matter what unit measured/
Regards,

Do you mean in the graphs? If so, no, but that's not in C1 anyway. Or are you talking about uploads to WOW? Have they changed their upload spec for soil moisture?

Maybe it's already on the list, but I didn't see: I am missing the little picture of the moon on the web-page describing the moon phase.

As Steve has explained in a couple of posts, MX does not produce moon images but there are several other simple ways to do this. To get you going, take a look here.willyweather wrote:Maybe it's already on the list, but I didn't see: I am missing the little picture of the moon on the web-page describing the moon phase.

Re: Things in Cumulus 1 missing from Cumulus MX
@ Duke - thanks, wasn't aware of that. Simply thought, that I had this moon picture in Cumulus 1.9.4, would like to have it in CumulusMX as well.
I'll go the way you have suggested.
thanks,
Wilfried

Re: Things in Cumulus 1 missing from Cumulus MX
I wrote a little PHP script that picks the moon phase picture matching the phase in the webtag #moonphase (actually $moonphase as it's PHP) and eight pictures that match I got from NASA website.
I can zip it up if anyone wants it and it can be seen working on my homepage http://www.dmjsystems.co.uk/weather/index.php
It will not work in the standard .htm files (my site runs on PHP) unless you add
to your .htaccess file and of course your server has PHP installed.
