Hello

I just downloaded Version 2 and it stalls during startup. I am using a Davis Vantage Pro Serial which is conneted over a Moxa N5410 to the lan. My PC is connected to the Moxa device server over a virtual COM Port. Here is the content of my BugReport.txt.

The VP2 occasionally returns timestamps that are not valid. I didn't have any checks for this in Cumulus 2, but I've put them in, so the next version I release will have them.

In this case I think it's the sunrise/sunset times causing the problem, which I don't actually use, so I've taken out the code that extracts them. Is it possible that your VP2 doesn't have your correct co-ordinates etc, so can't generate valid sunrise and sunset times?

Thanks for the quick reply. No, the location is set correctly, but all is set to european time and date format. Also the units are metric. All is running in the moment with Virtual Weather station, without any problem. Do you probably need a data file for debugging?

If you display sunrise and sunset on the console, do they look OK?

I don't think there's any point progressing this, as I've taken the code out, so the next version won't have the problem anyway. I don't really know why your sunrise and sunset times should cause a problem, when they don't seem to have for anyone else. I don't think locales or date formats are involved, as that's all handled automatically.
