Just remembered one problem that I spotted and forgot to fix. The Telerik components have changed, and one of the consequences of this that I spotted is that the scale labels on the pressure chart when using mb/hPa show "1k" etc instead of 1000 etc. I'll fix this next build, but if you spot any more like that, let me know.

Which version did you have installed previously? I changed the names of the tables in the database at some point, but I thought it was before the previous build. Can you try copying the blank database (cumulus.s3db) from the zip file, over your existing database (the location should be on the first line of the trace.txt file on your desktop).

General comment: I like it :) - and it accepted the database from the previous version without any problems :)
2 minor points:
- All time hi/los: takes a while to fill completely. No problem - but do not try to close while it is still incomplete: program crash
- data edit: when I pick a date, the data shown spans the period from about 22:00 the previous day until about 22:00 for the day selected. Why? why not midnight to midnight?
Regards, Ib

Yes, I think Steven must have skipped a build.

It's building it all on the fly from the database. Quite quick on my machine, even with quite a large database, but I do accept that I may have to do someting about it at some point.

I'll see what I can do about that!

It's UTC.

I didn't have a version of C2 installed....this was a fresh installation.

I'll try the s3db route.

Ah, right. Possibly a problem with the installer, then...

Dunno. Got 100% of import before it crashed. I tried it several times and got the same results at the same time. I'll uninstall and try re-installing.

Have been trying out this software (and this Alpha in particular) today. Looks very good, although have had a few crashes when trying to access one of the settings sub menu's, but not every time. Attached the bug report text file to this message, hope its useful!

Thanks, I think the problem is that it's trying to update the rain highs and lows when the units may have been changed, but there is no data for one of the periods (today etc) for some reason. I'll have a look at the code.

I thought it might be nice to try Cumulus 2, but it won't even start.

I copied the cumulus.s3db file from the zip to where it was mentioned above. I do have Cumulus 1 installed and running.

Your profile is a bit brief so I do not know what your station is, however you can NOT run 1 and 2 at the same time (there is an exception I think but it depends on your station type)

Looks like a problem with the Telerik controls; possibly due to your large screen size.

OK, I updated my profile!! Sorry.

I tried to reply, but I don't see that reply so I'm trying agian.

I THINK I can run C2 and C2 with VirtualVP on my Davis VP2. I currently run VPLive, VWS, and Cumulus 1. I get 4!!!

But it won't even start, so I can't select a COM port or anything.

I see Steve has replied with a probable cause, so I might just be out of luck with the big screen!!

I'll uninstall and forget about it unless I hear of a solution.
