I've noticed one strange record, at 3:06 this morning cumulus recorded 1171.7 millibars, it was also recorded on the internet, on wunderground. I checked the console and sucha pressure was not recorded on the min/max values. I couldn't find this strange pressure in the history data base and I have 1 minute interval recording.

Ello,

How is the console connected to the PC? Direct Serial Port Connection or USB Serial Adapter Connection?
If it is the USB Adapter, is it the well known 'Prolific' Adapter?

Though the use of an Connection other than a Direct Serial Connection to the PC, is frankly asking for Issues. To be honest, if its new and within warranty and can be exchanged, exchange it for a Fine Offset Station.

Jason

I don't support the use of Cumulus with a La Crosse station with a serial/USB adapter.

I hope that this Xmas I will get as a present a PCI card with 4 serial ports comm. Then I will give up the USB adapter for good, even though it is a pl2303.
Well Steve, you've said several times that you don't support this kind of USB adapter communication, it seems that you have strong reasons to do so.

The station is active now through a serial port, no longer any adapter.
I decided not to wait for the PCI card with multi serial ports.
I swapped it with the Inspeed Vortex wind sensor.
The wind sensor transmits data now through the USB adapter, it seems to work fine.

We'll see how stable the LC2350 will be.
Now you can support it Steve, I hope... :D
The LC2350 is running in wireless mode, 128 seconds transmission rate.

I'll do my best. I can fix bugs in Cumulus, anyway. La Crosse and Fine Offset stations still come up with weird values from time to time, and there's nothing I can do about that, other than attempt to filter them out where possible. I am told that La Crosse stations are particularly susceptible to RFI...

Radio Frequency Interference... ?!
It maybe because I have a lot of weather stations, 9 active weather stations, 6 of them are just plain simple thermo-humidity or icon representation of pressure trend weather stations, 7 of them communicating on 433 MHz in wireless mode, different models, some of them are not important brand.
So far everything seems to work perfect.
Thanks and regards, Eugen-Oradea.

Almost 9 days since I run the LC 2350 on serial port. Not a single error, I can hardly believe it.
I'm impressed, Cumulus does it's job flawlessly, congrats, Steve !
If the station works fine, everything is fine.
It remains to see for how long this happiness will keep ?!
Regards, Eugen-Oradea.
