Mmm... so we wait a few days? :?
Strange phenomenon.

And while am at it I created a new feature: Print the ReportView i.e. what you see in the right viewport you can print (e.g. the YADR reports). Not sure it is really something but it was too easy to let it go. So here it is. Unless you say it is useless sh*t and if it works properly, it will be in the next release.
No colour print though.

Just add "Print" as a top menu item to your CUtilsMenu.def.
If need be it can be added for those who do not use CutilsMenu.def.
That's all.

Hi Hans

I just set up Beta 6 on my site and the print function works well but what is with all those big dots??

Also on the cmd website at the end of the terminal session a heading of mapson seems to last a long time, this was not something I noticed in the previous version, before betas. I assume it is doing something that you are aware of.

It is obvious to me that you are spending a lot of development time on CUtils which is most appreciated, new functionality always helps to enhance the mind.

Keep up the great work.

Any print screen? Which big dots? I have no idea...

Agian no idea!
Do you have a log or print screen showing where this is happening?

Not really generally but the new PHP protocol requested some attention so I just continued ;)

Hi Hans

I have attached a logfile which shows the mapson process at lines 1069 and on, together with my CutilsMenu .def file for information.

If you look at my site the spots are on the menu bar
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

@Andy:
Not really sure what's causing the dots but why so you have a semicolon at the end of lines? That is definitely different from beginning of a line (where it has the meaning to ignore the line. The example menu in the distribution does not have that.

Remove those. If that does not help I'll look at it tomorrow.

Hi Hans

Thanks for the info, I cleaned up the semi colons and ran the cmd website and still the spots appeared. Next I put the print command at the end of the menu file, ran cmd website and as if by magic the spots were gone. :D

So as an upshot the print command needs to be at the end of the file and not the beginning which, after the event, I saw was where you had located the command.

I am still learning about this software which is great. My current endeavour is learning more about custom logs in CMX with a view to providing a longer term extra sensor data store. A bit of a challenge but I am going forward.

Good!
If something does not show after rebuilding the website, try ctrl-F5 (refresh after clearing the cache)

No, it does not need to be at the end. I see no reason why it could not be the first on the menu line. I'll try some variations later.

Take your time, I made no progress as the PHP thing came first :)

Hi Hans

I checked the repositioning of the print command this morning and if it is a t any position other than the end you get the large spots on the menu bar.

Created an additional beta8 to account for some unexpected issues around the External Extra Sensors (which not many use) and subsequently around the map. See first post or just wait for the release.

Beta 8 showed no issues but I am not sure what it fixed as I did not have an issue

In first post it says (strike through): Issues with External Extra Sensors and additional map failing. You have no EES, as not many have that. Might have skipped this but as regression testing it is good. Thanks.
